Annie Barr MBE is the Clinical Director and CEO of AB Health Group and a very experienced clinician. As an international speaker and running an international training company, Annie has trained and developed many programmes for healthcare workers ranging from Health Care Assistants, to Medical consultants. Annie is CEO of 6 companies. Annie was awarded the MBE in June 2018 from the Queen for her services in Export to China. Born in Jedburgh, Scotland Annie moved to the Northeast in 1985 to pursue a career in heart transplantation and renal dialysis. Annie is a graduate of , Sunderland University where she gained a BSc Hon’s in Health Sciences and Northumbria University after hav ing completed her master’s degree in Advanced Clinical Practice and in 2010 completed a P ost G raduate Cert ificate in Executive Coaching. Annie is passionate about making a difference to patient care throughout the world by providing high quality education and training programmes that are practical and make a difference to clinical practice. Annie has a specialist interest in v itami n d eficiencies and health technology. Annie is a n international expert and speaker and strategist and thought leader behind many innovative projects for improving patient care via technology, digital health, and workforce development. With a background in education and training Annie develops training programmes for clients nationally and internationally. Annie is passionate about high quality training and career pathways for healthcare staff. Annie was the R oyal College of General Practice (RCGP) Nursing Representa tive for the Northeast Faculty and the RCGP representative on the North delivery board for the 10 years forward view.
